International multimedia producer Mere Mortals has hosted a work experience visit by South Shields teenagers. They showed them examples of games design and programming and video production, all carried out by their award-winning team at their base in Hoults Yard, Newcastle
Nine 13-year-old boys also went to Newcastle facilities house IG Media to see computer games in development.
The visits were part of a hands on project to build confidence and raise aspirations.
Animation workshops were held and their own film Mortimer's Got Talent was made for screening in a school assembly.
The scheme was commissioned as part of Find Your Talent, based at the Customs House.
