What is Digital Drawing?
Our Wellbeing Through Digital Art sessions always receive excellent feedback.
We take them step by step, starting with taking or finding a photo to trace over, gradually building digital art skills at their own pace. The app we use is very versatile so we aim for learners to be able to do freeform drawing and painting digitally by the end of a 6 week course. Feedback often mentions how mindful and relaxing it is.
This is also great for wellbeing, creativity and fun. We run taster sessions, 4 or 6 week courses and can even keep it going long-term so it can be a weekly or monthly long term club.
We often run sessions and field trips out in nature or to interesting locations across the region.
At the end of a course we always have an exhibition with a celebration of the participants’ work and a presentation of certificates.
Learners who say they can’t draw find they can on iPads!

Procreate Animation
We also run animation workshops in this app. Animation is a natural extension of digital drawing and can be an individual or group task to be enjoyed by adults and children.
As a group task they learn to storyboard together and animate individual scenes which are edited together to tell a story.
